To enhance awareness of IBC-A in the U.S. market and support its broader clinical adoption, Toray Medical Co.,Ltd. and Toray International America Inc. jointly exhibited an IBC-A hands-on station at New York Valves 2026, held in New York City, USA, from June 24 to 26, 2026.
New York Valves is one of the premier international meetings focused on structural heart disease, covering key therapeutic areas such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), transcatheter mitral valve interventions (TMVR), and transcatheter tricuspid valve interventions (TTVR). The conference attracts interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and imaging specialists from around the world. This event marked the Toray Group’s first participation in the conference.
IBC-A (INOUE BALLOON™ A) is a balloon catheter indicated for percutaneous transluminal aortic valvuloplasty (PTAV) in patients with aortic stenosis. During the meeting, the hands-on station welcomed not only physicians from the United States but also healthcare professionals from countries where the INOUE BALLOON is already in clinical use, including Brazil, Canada, Germany, Norway, Poland, Türkiye, Kuwait, Vietnam, India, and New Zealand. The event provided valuable opportunities for active discussions on real-world clinical experience and case applications, while also showcasing the unique features, clinical benefits, and potential utility of IBC-A.

The conference also highlighted the continued advancement of minimally invasive therapies and growing interest in next-generation technologies for the treatment of structural heart disease. In particular, rapid innovations in TAVR and transcatheter tricuspid valve interventions underscored the increasing demand for advanced catheter-based technologies and related procedural devices in the U.S. market.
Through this exhibition, we successfully increased awareness of IBC-A among key stakeholders in both the United States and the global structural heart community. Moving forward, we will continue to leverage major international scientific meetings and hands-on training programs to further strengthen the visibility of IBC-A and promote its broader clinical adoption in the U.S. market.

Over
